April calls us to focus on one of Rotary’s most urgent and impactful Areas of Focus—the Environment. This is not just about protecting nature—it’s about protecting people. It’s about recognizing that the health of our environment is directly tied to the health of our communities. Clean water, sustainable resources, and environmental stewardship are not separate from our mission… they are essential to it.
When we invest in the environment, we invest in stronger families, healthier children, and more resilient communities. We create conditions where people can thrive—not just today, but for generations to come. This is Rotary at its best. This is what it truly means to Unite for Good.
And what a year it has been.
We are now three-quarters of the way through this Rotary year, and I continue to be inspired—deeply inspired—by the commitment, innovation, and heart of Rotarians across District 7910. You are not only responding to needs in your communities—you are anticipating them, addressing root causes, and creating sustainable impact that will last well beyond this year.
There are moments in Rotary that define your year… And then some moments that redefine why you’re in Rotary at all.
This is one of them.
✨ Turning Collaboration into Celebration
For one unforgettable weekend, Rotary doesn’t live in meetings, agendas, or emails.
It comes alive. On an island. With people who believe what you believe— That service matters, that connection matters, and together… we can do more than we ever imagined alone.
This is where:
You feel the energy of 110+ clubs coming together
You hear stories that remind you why you said yes to Rotary
You build relationships that will change your club—and your life
Across District 7910, something incredible is happening every single day. Projects are changing lives. Clubs are strengthening communities. And Rotarians—just like you—are living out Service Above Self in powerful, meaningful ways.
Now it’s time to tell those stories.
Club Presidents, Presidents-Elect, and Assistant Governors have received detailed information on this year’s District Awards—and we want every Rotarian to know: this is your moment to help recognize the very best of who we are.
These awards aren’t just about recognition—they’re about celebrating impact. They reflect how we bring Rotary’s message of Unite for Good to life across our district.
Award Categories Include:
Club of the Year – Highlighting innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact (see attached rubric for criteria)
Rotarian of the Year – Honoring individuals whose service and leadership inspire others
Assistant Governor of the Year – Recognizing the often behind-the-scenes leaders who strengthen and support our clubs every day
Unsung Hero Award – For the individual who consistently shows up, steps up, and makes a difference without seeking recognition
Spouse of the Year Award – Celebrating the incredible partners who support Rotary service behind the scenes and help make our impact possible
As we prepare for our 2026 Joint District Conference, we will once again take time to honor and remember the remarkable Rotarians that we have lost this past year—individuals who truly lived Service Above Self and left a lasting impact on their clubs, communities, and our district.
To ensure that every Rotarian is recognized with the dignity and respect that they deserve, we are asking each club to submit the names and information of any members who have passed away between May 2025 and today.
Please include the following for each submission:
Full name of the Rotarian
Club affiliation
Date of passing
A high-quality photo
A brief bio (2–4 sentences highlighting their service, leadership, and impact)
This tribute will be presented during a special Memorial Service at the District Conference on Martha’s Vineyard (May 15–17, 2026)—a meaningful moment of reflection as we come together to celebrate lives dedicated to making a difference.
This is more than a formality—it is our opportunity to tell their stories, to honor their legacy, and to ensure they are remembered as part of our shared Rotary journey.
Every Rotary year brings moments where we roll up our sleeves in service—and moments where we come together to guide the future of our district. One of those important moments is right around the corner.

Our small but active club keeps growing! On March 31st we were honored to welcome 3 new members to our club: Tom Rizzo, Peter Gaudette, and Elvis Lulo. A big thanks to DG Johnny for helping out make it such a special evening.
Public Image Primer: 3 Rotary Logos Do's and Don'ts
1. DO use your custom Club logo all the time. DG Johnny's Leominster Club's simplified logo is perfect. If you're not using a logo that looks similar, you can find your Club logo in this folder. If your club is using the "old" wheel/gear/cog that has yellow and blue, you gotta change it.
2. DON'T use the Rotary "Mark of Excellence" for your Club's program, event, or anything. Use your Club's custom logo for everything.
3. DON'T use the Presidential "Unite for Good" message for anything that will go to folks who are not Rotary members. That's why the banner at the top of this newsletter no longer has the logo below.
To conform to Rotary's brand guidelines, you'll have the easiest time if you never use that logo at , beautiful as it may be.
