If your home office is starting to look more like a technology museum than a workspace, help is on the way! The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to announce its upcoming Electronics Recycling Day, held in partnership with the Town of Dedham and Complete Recycling Solutions.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 8:00 AM to Noon in the Dedham Middle School Parking Lot.
Electronic waste, or “e-waste,” is one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the world. Many common household electronics contain materials that require specialized handling to prevent environmental impact. This event provides a convenient, local opportunity for residents to ensure their old devices are processed responsibly and kept out of landfills.
Members of the Club, assisted by the Blue Hills Regional baseball team, will be on-site to facilitate the collection of various recycling electronics. Please note that fees will be charged at drop-off to cover the costs of professional recycling and logistics. Whether it’s an old monitor, a tower of retired laptops, or that tangle of mystery cables in the basement, this event is designed to help the community unplug and declutter with peace of mind.
“Partnering with the Town of Dedham and Complete Recycling Solutions allows us to provide a service that is both practical for residents and beneficial for the environment,” said Club President Bob Blood. “It’s a great way to kick off spring cleaning while supporting sustainable community practices.”
The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club consists of dedicated individuals from the ten communities that comprise the Neponset River Valley area.
