As we begin December, we embrace Rotary’s Disease Prevention and Treatment Month, a reminder of one of our organization’s most vital areas of focus. Disease touches every community, every family, and every club in some way—and Rotary has long stood at the forefront of global and local efforts to improve health outcomes.
Across District 7910, our clubs continue to demonstrate what service with purpose truly looks like. Many are supporting local hospitals and community health centers, helping expand access to screenings and wellness programs, and championing mental health awareness—an area of growing importance for people of all ages. Others are conducting efforts tied to clean water and sanitation, recognizing that good health is built on strong foundations. Whether you’re collecting medical supplies, hosting blood drives, supporting maternal and child health initiatives, or building partnerships that promote long-term community well-being, your work reflects the very best of Rotary’s commitment to humanity.
Listen… I’ve seen some of you eyeing your December calendars like the Grinch staring down Whoville. The holiday rush is real, I get it. But before you retreat to your cave with your dog and a bad attitude, hear me out: Our District Holiday Party on December 17th is going to be worth leaving the house for.
For just $45 per person, you can enjoy an evening that’s far more exciting than rewrapping last year’s fruitcake and pretending it’s new.
Here’s why you absolutely, positively, 100% should not skip this:
🎄 Fellowship That Would Melt Even the Grinch’s Cold, Raisin-Sized Heart Whether you’re feeling festive or just “fest-ish,” you’ll be surrounded by joyful Rotarians who might actually convince you to smile.
🍽️ A Dinner That Doesn’t Come From a Can No questionable roast beast. No Who-hash. Real food. Hot food. Food you didn’t have to cook provided by the Boxborough Regency. Enough said.
This isn’t just a launch—it’s a milestone. On December 3, the International Day of People with Disabilities, we proudly unveil a platform dedicated to inclusion, service, and impact.
Join us as we celebrate dignity, accessibility, and the power of community.

In the spirit of the holidays, this month we will explore the role of holiday gift-giving in business. Over the years, we’ve received bottles of wine, tins of popcorn, calendars, chocolate truffles, tree ornaments, jelly samplers, pens, mouse pads, and more… Do you give seasonal gifts in your business? What is your goal or expectation in giving them? Do you receive seasonal gifts from business connections? What is your reaction to them?

The Rotary Club of Littleton (MA) is once again holding a winter clothing/blanket drive for the Lowell Transitional Living Center (LTLC), starting immediately and continuing until December 31.
The LTLC is located in downtown Lowell and serves the entire Merrimack Valley. It is a client-centered shelter for homeless adults, providing shelter and services for 60 adult males and 30 adult females. For nearly 40 years, the LTLC has offered short-term housing, food and support services to those on their journey to permanent housing.
Last year the LTLC served 1162 individuals, and is already seeing an increase in the number of individuals in need of help. As the only organization providing a Winter Emergency Bed Program in this area, the LTLC anticipates a dramatic increase in those numbers over the next few months.
District 7910 is currently hosting Rotary Exchange Student Shihori Omi from Japan. Shihori lives with a host family in Acton and is sponsored by the Acton-Boxborough Rotary. She attends Acton-Boxborough Regional High School as a 10th grader. She will be here for the full 2025-26 academic year. In November, she attended the District 7910 Foundation Dinner, where she charmed everyone with her big smile and enthusiasm. She even exchanged pins with District Governor Johnny Ahern. She's looking forward to joining Interact at her high school.
Our District's Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is almost here. This exciting event is scheduled for Saturday, January 17th at the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Rotary Youth Exchange is one of the most life changing programs that Rotary offers and it's open to all high school students. Our Youth Exchange Committee is growing this program and we need your help. If you have teenagers in your life -- tell them about Rotary's Short and Long Term Exchange Programs. These programs offer low-cost opportunities for youth to travel to foreign countries, learn a new language, and make friends around the world. Our motto: Peace in the World, One Exchange at a Time.
Did you know many seniors in assisted living do not have any family and never receive gifts for the Holidays? With this simple message and an Amazon wish list, the Wachusett Area Rotary club was able to gain over 155 donations of throw blankets from the community to donate to seniors in assisted living this holiday season.
Public Image Primer: 3 Rotary Logos Do's and Don'ts
1. DO use your custom Club logo all the time. DG Johnny's Leominster Club's simplified logo is perfect. If you're not using a logo that looks similar, you can find your Club logo in this folder. If your club is using the "old" wheel/gear/cog that has yellow and blue, you gotta change it.
2. DON'T use the Rotary "Mark of Excellence" for your Club's program, event, or anything. Use your Club's custom logo for everything.
3. DON'T use the Presidential "Unite for Good" message for anything that will go to folks who are not Rotary members. That's why the banner at the top of this newsletter no longer has the logo below.
To conform to Rotary's brand guidelines, you'll have the easiest time if you never use that logo at , beautiful as it may be.
