We have invited the parents to an informal reception where we will share information about Rotary and about our District. We would love for every club that has sent one or more students to RYLA to come and greet the parents -- and tell them about your club!

11 Rotarians from our District visited Sweden on a Rotary Friendship Exchange in May. The District has participated in a Friendship Exchange with two Districts in England for over 50 years and this was the first time we hosted and visited a different country. The Rotarians hosted us in their homes and brought us to some amazing experiences like a Football game, (soccer for us Americans), the Island of Ven, the small town where Absolute vodka is made, a company that makes packaging like you use for juice boxes that has over 30% of the world market share and many other amazing places.

We collaborate with our local police department and town residents to collect food, then drive the cruiser stuffed with donations to a local food pantry. We have fun, connect with our communities, help fulfill an essential need, and show residents the good works of our Rotary clubs. Our Interact members join us in this service project.
