On the last Saturday of April, the Rotary Club of Bedford, joined by this year’s partner Rotary clubs of Merrimack Valley and Chelmsford, closed out the Hope for the Hungry 2025 meal-packing event with a final count of 50,000-plus packed meals.
Packing events are fun, fast, and effective Come join the Blackstone Valley Rotary and help pack 10,000 meals for local shelters which is crucial as many families in the Blackstone Valley face food insecurity. We'll start at 2:00pm and go till we're done - no later than 5:00pm AND we'll give you everything you need to participate (including funny net hats!).
ALL ARE WELCOME including Rotarians, friends, family and kids. For littles we'll have kids activities and snacks to keep them happy (you too!).
Are you looking for an easy way to recycle electronics and metals while supporting a local Rotary Club? Gather your unwanted junk and let our club turn it into funds that we can use to support our Shrewsbury Community Fridge and scholarship program for high school seniors. Sunday, May 18th from noon-3PM at Shrewsbury Town Hall, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury. A car load is just $40. Additional charges apply for certain items; low single item rates for smaller loads.
Littleton's Zero Waste Day 2025 is May 17th from 9 am-1 pm at Littleton High School! It is a great opportunity to donate and get rid of items to organizations that will correctly dispose of the items or repurpose them for those in need.

The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club continued its strong tradition of supporting local youth at a recent awards ceremony held at Blue Hills Regional Technical School. The Club was honored to recognize several outstanding students for their dedication, achievement, and bright futures through scholarships and leadership awards.

The Rotary Club of Concord participated in the 250th parade on April 19th in Concord MA. A fabulous float was designed and assembled on a large flatbed generously loaned by Acorn Deck House. Featuring an 8 foot syringe representing Polio Vaccines and surrounded with signage depicting all our service projects, the float was a wonder to behold!

The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club successfully held its annual Recycle Event last month in partnership with the Town of Dedham and Complete Recycling Solutions. Despite inclement weather, the event saw strong community participation and proved to be a significant fundraising success for the organization.
In a truly magnificent celebration of service above self, the Rotary Club of Weston & Wayland commemorated its 75th anniversary on April 3, 2025, at the Weston Golf Club. Over 90 people attended. Current club members, representatives from the Rotary district and international organizations, friends, and family gathered to honor the work and the people who have and continue to do it. This evening will live long among the fondest memories of all who attended.
