The Rotary Club of Concord participated in the 250th parade on April 19th in Concord MA. A fabulous float was designed and assembled on a large flatbed generously loaned by Acorn Deck House. Featuring an 8 foot syringe representing Polio Vaccines and surrounded with signage depicting all our service projects, the float was a wonder to behold!

Bright and early Saturday morning at 6AM Rotarians arrived at Emerson field in Concord to serve coffee and pastries generously donated by Concord Teacakes and Dunkin's. We then began marching in the parade with a banner that said, Ending Polio- The Shot FELT 'Round The World, followed by our amazing float. The day could not have been better and our club was proud to be a part of such a momentous occasion! We even had people interested in joining our club after seeing the parade float!
