Welcome to November! We are 1/3 of the way through this Rotary year of being the inspiration!  It is far too early to pause to reflect upon our accomplishments as so much more is being planned by clubs in our District.  We have had a few Rotary Days already, and several more are being planned.  Clubs have been raising money to pay for their service projects, and those fundraisers have been fun.  All of us who, together, pitch in to take a small part in producing these Club service projects and fundraisers, ARE the inspiration.

The Rotary Foundation.  November is The Rotary Foundation Month.  This month we celebrate a vital part of our Rotary community, the Foundation. Many of the projects we do, and much of the impact Rotary does in the world, is funded by The Rotary Foundation money.  Money that you and your clubs donate to the Foundation!  Clubs in our District are celebrating The
Rotary Foundation on November 8 at the Sheraton Framingham.  We want all of you to join us.  We need you there. You are part of why we are celebrating.  Amy Carst is our keynote speaker with an inspiring and engaging story of her Rotary Foundation funded project with the Mayalaka House orphanage.  We will also hear from a few clubs about their projects funded by Foundation grants, and we have Foundation awards!  PLEASE CLICK HERE TO REGISTER TODAY.

Solidarity Sabbath Service.  We are all shocked and dismayed by the violence and hatred that erupted over the past week.  Rotary has been invited to participate in a solidarity service Friday November 2, 2018 at 7:15 pm at Temple Beth Am in Framingham.  DETAILS ARE HERE.

Holiday Party.  December 16, 2018.  5:30 - 8:00.  Please join all of us for a fun and festive holiday get together at Arturo's in Westborough.  CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS AND REGISTRATION.

Calendar.  Please remember to check the District Calendar for upcoming committee meetings and area meetings.  Providing opportunities for us to join together with Rotarians from other clubs for fellowship and to exchange ideas is a vital part of how we, as Rotary, develop ideas to make a difference in our communities.  You are welcome to join us in each of these events. No invitation is necessary.

Guatemala Stove Project.  There is still time to sign up to travel on the District's international service project March 23-30, 2019.  CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

Passport Club.  We are continuing to develop the framework for the District 7910 Passport Club.  Please send me the names of people who are interested in joining this new Rotary Club.  DETAILS ARE HERE.

Send in your stories.  You all do great things in your communities.  Other clubs want to be inspired by what you do.  Please send me the stories of the service projects you do so we can share your success.
