Governor's  Message: Membership the one common concern of every club

What beautiful weather we have had and it looks like we have another great week coming. Last week, I visited Fitchburg, Franklin and Westford, so I now only have Bedford, Concord Lunch and Westwood to go.

Rotarians In Memoriam
 
Matthew "Matt" Stepanski Sr., Worcester: Rest in peace, Matt Stepanski, an honorable Worcester Rotarian for more than 55 years who ran a small-business association. He always had a smile, and a joke ready to entertain a room with. The funeral mass will be held today, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 353 Grove St., Worcester. Dorothy Hall, wife of Past District Ed Hall (DG 1987-1988): Dorothy's funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 15, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Jefferson, with burial following in St. Mary's Cemetery in Holden. Calling hours will be today, September 14, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home on Main Street in Holden. Rotarians will be gathering today at 5:00 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home to show their respect. To read her obituary,  click here.

The Rotary Club of Chelmsford recently made a $500 donation to The Lowell Transitional Living Center to support the center's various programs. Sean Moriarty (shown, left) of RC Chelmsford made the presentation to Jennifer Sagan (center) and Joshua White (right) of the Living Center.
