Among District 7910 clubs, Rotary Club of World Disability Advocacy (RCWDA), meets by Internet with a special mission. Our mission is to advocate for rights and proper treatment of people with disabilities anywhere in the world. This means 1-2 billion people potentially served by our club, and extends to even more people, as families, caregivers, and societies are helped by advocating for and advancing people with disabilities’ human rights.

- Raise awareness about disability rights and accessibility in your club or community
- Learn how to “call in” organizations to kind accessibility for people with disabilities
- Join our 2026 leadership series led by world experts or a disability-specific webinar
- Celebrate World Polio Day, focusing on the WHO-estimated 12-15 million survivors
- Lead projects that impact your community on a local, country, or global level
RCWDA History
RCWDA began on June 17, 2021, as 20 people from several countries came together with a mission to include more people with disabilities in Rotary. Our mission expanded to partner with people with disabilities worldwide in advocacy, kindness, and service. Today, RCWDA has about 80 members from nearly 40 countries. Though dispersed, members find ways to develop personal relationships that Rotary is known for as we work toward this mission.
We have built-in travel possibilities too. Already, members have met up in communities in Ireland, Colombia, and the United States. The possibilities are many! Only one member lives in District 7910, though we would like to have many more of you as Honorary Members (since you’re already a Rotarian) and are the host district for our special club.
