It is with profound sadness that we learned of the tragic passing of District 7790's Governor Serge Poulin.
Serge was on his way to a club visit when a trailer jackknifed and crossed into his lane. He was killed instantly. Serge was a dedicated Rotarian, a compassionate leader, and a wonderful the epitome of service above self. His warm smile, kindness, humor, and willingness to help others touched so many lives.
His commitment to suicide prevention, polio eradication, and providing eye care to underserved communities around the world reflected the true spirit of Service Above Self.
Serge will always be remembered for his leadership, his friendship and the joy he brought to our Rotary family. Our deepest condolences go to his beloved wife, Marie-Christine Bouchard, his family, friends, and the entire Rotary family of District 7790. Serge, you will be deeply missed, but your service, friendship, and legacy will remain in our hearts.
