The Chelmsford Rotary Club brought smiles, laughter, and a little Halloween magic to the Chelmsford Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 24, as local families gathered for the club’s annual Children’s Halloween Party. Young ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses enjoyed a festive morning filled with face painting, pumpkin decorating, crafts, games, and entertainment.
Students from the local high school Interact Club played an important role in making the event a success, volunteering their time and enthusiasm to help children enjoy the many activities. Their participation was a wonderful example of Rotary's commitment to developing the next generation of community leaders.
A highlight of the morning was an entertaining and interactive magic show by Magic by George, which delighted children and parents alike. The Chelmsford Police Department also joined the festivities, handing out police badges to young attendees and helping ensure a safe street crossing for participants in the Halloween costume parade.
Beyond the costumes and fun, the event reflected Rotary's dedication to Service Above Self. Proceeds from the celebration will support Chelmsford Rotary's ongoing initiatives to combat food insecurity and promote youth leadership development in our community.
The Chelmsford Rotary Club extends its sincere thanks to the Interact student volunteers, Chelmsford Police Department, Magic by George, and everyone who helped make this community tradition a success.
A little Halloween fun can make a big difference in our community!
