BVR's first clothing swap, held on September 14th and done in collaboration with the Northbridge Food Pantry and Milford Federal Saving Bank, was an enormous success. Over 100 residents took advantage of the chance to donate gently-used clothing and/or select donated items for their own use. All at no charge to anyone.Volunteers from Rotary, the Northbridge Food Pantry, and Milford Federal worked to create shopping areas for Men's, Women's and Children's clothing and accessories; educated attendees about other available resources in the area, and of course talked about Rotary!
A big thanks to Julie Blair for her outstanding work to organize this effort, and to Jamal Clarke and Milford Federal for the use of their property to hold the event.
