Agenda: 

7:30 - 8:00 am: Arrive, unstructured networking, reconnect - pre-meeting chit-chat for early arrivals (and coffee!)

8:00 am:  Seating, order breakfast (self-pay, separate checks).

8:10 am: Welcome, introductions, and brief business introductions ("commercial," "elevator pitch" or personal statement).

8:30 am: Discussion Topic: 

Let’s talk about misconceptions we’ve encountered with clients, prospects, customers or other stakeholders—and how we’ve handled things. We’ll workshop each other, exploring the misunderstandings and ways we might turn them to our advantage. Or at least clarified our value propositions!

Here's an example: 

"Recently, I presented what I thought was a thorough, benefit-forward presentation of my business. I’m a copywriter of marketing and sales materials.  Guess what? The next day I got a call asking me to help with a design project! I quickly explained what I did—and recommended a trusted designer to handle the job."
