Business Networking Breakfast (In-person)

Please join us on Tuesday from 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. for Business Networking with Rotarians and not-yet Rotarians in Needham (change of venue). 

Address: Workbar, 117 Kendrick Street, Needham (exact location confirmed after you RSVP).  

Come and network with other Business Professionals from across the region. Current and "not-yet" members of Rotary Clubs in and near District 7910 are welcome. 

Let us know you’re coming by registering (required) and then chip in $5 for coffee and snacks by Venmo to @john-marchiony, or please bring a $5 bill. 

Agenda: 

7:30 - 8:00 am: Arrive, unstructured networking, reconnect - pre-meeting chit-chat for early arrivals (and coffee!)

8:00 am:  Seating, welcome, introductions. 

8:05 am: Business introductions ("commercial," "elevator/escalator pitch" or personal statement).

8:30 am: Rotary Mastermind session.

There's a ton of business experience around the table, so the gathered group can be your "Business Advisory Board."

This month, our topic is "Building business relationships." People often talk about "building relationships" to accelerate business growth. What does that mean? What has worked well for you? We'll explore some of that and then break into small groups for deeper discussions. 

In recent months, the group has taken on these questions: 

• What have you learned from a memorable business "failure?"

• How do I get started in my brand new business? What should I do first, and second?

• How do I correct a prospect's misconception about what I do? 

• How do I make networking and referral partnerships more productive?

• What's the right balance of talking and listening in business development and sales conversations? 

Your assignment: Come with one question for the group!
