The first two weeks of my Governorship have flown by, and what an incredible start to this Rotary year it has been!
Over the past two weeks, I've had the privilege of attending five Club Officer Installations and completing three official club visits, while also participating in my own club meetings and community volunteer events. Every mile traveled and every conversation has reminded me why Rotary is such a powerful force for good.
One of the greatest joys of serving as your District Governor is seeing the passion, dedication, and generosity of our members in action. Every club has its own unique story, yet we all share the same commitment to Service Above Self. From the Wachusett Area Rotary Club's upcoming Peace Pole installation to the Athol-Orange Rotary Club's purchase of a fire truck that will soon serve communities in Mexico, our clubs are changing lives—both here at home and across the globe.
Have you thought about getting involved at the District level? As we begin the new Rotary year, there are several positions available on District Committees that you could get involved in! They include committees like Membership, Public Image, District Conference, New District Creation, and a few more!

The Rotary Club of Littleton’s annual Appleman Triathlon will take place on Sunday, July 19, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am, starting and ending at Long Lake Beach in Littleton. This is the Littleton Club’s largest fundraiser. 100% of the net proceeds from this race are used to support our Club’s charitable projects and volunteer activities. Blackstone Valley Rotary & Northbridge Food Pantry are teaming up for our 3rd FREE Clothing Event. Bring clothes, or take clothes - all at no charge (you don't have to donate anything to take clothes).
The Event is Saturday, August 1st, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Pleasant Street Church, 25 Cross Street in Northbridge. Click HERE for a map. Donations are being accepted Monday - Thursday from 8 am to noon at the church.

Diapers are a necessity and also a great expense. The Shrewsbury Rotary Club is holding a diaper drive throughout July to support our local diaper pantry. The pantry provides diapers and wipes once a month to lessen the burden on families with young children. The more diapers we collect, the more families we can support. Drop off new, unopened packages of diapers and wipes at one of our collection sites, or donate to our club, and we can shop for you.
The Fitchburg Rotary Club and the Fitchburg East Rotary Club are honored to invite Rotarians from throughout District 7910, local veterans, community members, and partner organizations to join us for the First Annual Rotary Veterans Stand Down & 9/11 Remembrance on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fitchburg Senior Center, 14 Wallace Avenue, Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
Join the Blackstone Valley Rotary at the Blissful Meadows Golf Club in Uxbridge for our 5th Annual Golfing for Good Tournament. This is our only fundraiser (we spend all our other time doing good in the world).

Eric Harina from the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City (District 3850) in the Philippines was visiting his daughter in Boston and asked if he could attend a meeting. He was warmly welcomed along with his daughter, Mary Harina, who lives and works here. After dinner, he showed a video of the Rotary installation dinner in which some Rotarians did traditional dances in typical dresses, and everyone ate traditional food. Eric then gave a presentation about the polio campaign that the Zamboanga City Rotary Club conducts every year, which has decreased the incidence of polio in outlying areas.
Hundreds of riders, volunteers, sponsors, and community members came together on Father's Day for the Rotary Club of Natick's 23rd Annual Tour de Natick, celebrating a day of cycling, family fun, and community spirit while raising funds to support local scholarships, nonprofit organizations, and service projects throughout Natick.
Public Image Primer: 3 Rotary Logos Do's and Don'ts
1. DO use your custom Club logo all the time. DG Johnny's Leominster Club's simplified logo is perfect. If you're not using a logo that looks similar, you can find your Club logo in this folder. If your club is using the "old" wheel/gear/cog that has yellow and blue, you gotta change it.
2. DON'T use the Rotary "Mark of Excellence" for your Club's program, event, or anything. Use your Club's custom logo for everything.
3. DON'T use the Presidential "Unite for Good" message for anything that will go to folks who are not Rotary members. That's why the banner at the top of this newsletter no longer has the logo below.
To conform to Rotary's brand guidelines, you'll have the easiest time if you never use that logo at , beautiful as it may be.
