Members will recall that Otto Prohaska, a Rotarian for more than 35 years and President-elect of our Sturbridge Club, lost his life in a tragic accident last August while volunteering at the Club’s annual golf tournament. The family has invited Rotarians to a celebration of Otto’s life on Saturday, May 3rd, at the Publick House, 277 Main Street, from noon to 4 pm, with a special toast for Otto scheduled at 1:30 pm. Please join us as we remember Otto and his many accomplishments.
On May 17 District 7910 will celebrate all our clubs and their leaders in a one-day District Conference to be held at Assabet Regional Technical High School in Marlborough. Come celebrate with us the accomplishments of all our clubs, and learn from one another.

District 7910 is seeking candidates to fill the role of District Treasurer. The District Treasurer is key member of our leadership team. Responsibilities include tracking income and expenses, invoicing annual Club dues, preparing monthly financial reports, working with our accountant for preparation of tax returns, expense report review for members of the District Governor chain and management of our bank accounts. Accounting experience and familiarity with Quickbooks are necessary. PDG Jim Fusco will provide support in his role of Assistant Treasurer.
Join the Rotary Club of Framingham for a Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser on Sunday, May 4th at the Warren Conference Center in Ashland, MA. Teams will compete in either the competitive ($300 cash prize) or social division (new cornhole boards to the winning team) and have the chance to participate in our raffle and silent auction! The Tour de Natick is a family-friendly bike ride held each Father’s Day on the Natick Common in downtown Natick. The route is an easy 6-mile loop, leaving at 11 AM and returning for a complimentary cookout immediately following. The Tour de Natick is the primary fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Natick’s charitable foundation, which benefits Natick Students.
