The Rotary Club of Westborough and District 7910 have been selected as one of the two recipients of the 2017 Zone 32 Public Image Award. The award was presented to our District during last week’s Zone Institute in Hartford, CT.
 
The Rotary Club of Westborough continuously promotes the “Rotary Story” through daily use of various public relations tools.  The Club maintains an eight-member public information committee which is responsible for website, social media, press releases, collateral production, newsletters, and more.

Westborough Rotary has implemented an organized public information program that includes the following:
 
    Monthly website updates, with additional updates for important events and news as needed.  See http://www.westboroughrotary.org.
    Facebook page updated several times weekly at a minimum.  See https://www.facebook.com/westboroughrotary/.

    Instagram account is updated several times weekly, and in real time during events or when important news breaks.  The account has more than 330 followers.
    The Club publishes a weekly newsletter which is distributed to club members and other “friends” of Westborough Rotary.  The newsletter is managed by a team of three people. The publication recaps the latest meeting, summarizes other club news, and provides information on upcoming Club, District and International events.
    Press releases are issued to a variety of local media outlets, including print, online and community television.
    Rotary branded collateral is regularly produced to support Club and community events.
