"Pie In The Sky" is Community Servings' tasty fundraiser that helps to provide medically tailored meals to clients across Massachusetts. Spearheaded by Past President Marie Presti, of The Presti Group Realty, the Rotary Club of Newton has supported this seasonal drive for many years. Now we also recognize the many Fire and Police personnel who give up their Thanksgiving to be on call to serve our community, and treat them to pies to let them know how grateful we are.

For 35 years, Community Servings has provided more than 13 million medically tailored meals (MTMs) to clients across Massachusetts who are living with severe critical and chronic illnesses such as HIV, cancer, diabetes, and kidney disease. Each pie that is sold for $35 provides a full week of nourishing meals. We buy pies not only for our families and friends, but for our clients - who appreciate the good work that we're helping to do. Marie is always one of the top pie sellers, and Rotarians volunteer to distribute many dozens of extra pies to worthy community organizations like the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA along with the first responders.
