Because of RYLA 2019, We have reason to celebrate!
We, Rotarians of District 7910, have directly impacted the lives of 800 people as a result of our 2019 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards in June at Fitchburg State University!
Check out the "Feelin' 800" we generated:
- 200 attendees
- 30 Group Facilitators (juniors, GFs)
- 6 Program Facilitators (seniors, PFs)
- 400 parents (at closing ceremony)
- 100+ volunteers
- 50 RYLA chairs
- 20 RYLA board members
Thank you to all of you who spread the word to encourage applications, interviewed to select the students, and raised the money: $300 per attendee = $60,000 in scholarships!
We received more than 50 handwritten thank-you notes expressing sincere appreciation and gratitude for a three-day conference that was nothing short of life-changing. If we had a dollar for every time we heard that, we could sponsor another student!
