Approximately 25 Rotarians and 12 Interactors participated in Rotary Service Saturday hosted by the Rotary Club of Framingham. Projects included “renovating” Simpson Park by widening a walking trail, some plantings and spreading mulch/raking. For the Y, volunteers did some landscaping. Others played BINGO at a nursing home and gave out prizes. Others cleaned graves of veterans at a town cemetery. After the service projects were completed, the group gathered back at the Y for pizza and writing notes in greeting cards for VA hospital residents. Monday morning, 400+ greetings cards were delivered to the VA hospital.
