Carl Gomes, Richard Simon, Fatima Serra Simon and Steve Jones D’Agostino along with several other 'service above self' community members from Greater Worcester are this week on a hurricane-relief mission in the San Juan/Guaynabo Puerto Rico region.
The Nashoba Valley club members are shown posing outside Calvary Church of Puerto Rico, in Guaynabo, prior to a day of major clean-ups at the devasted properties of four needy households in the Guaynabo area, including delivery of food and water to neighboring homes.
The mission is led by Richard Gonzalez, pastor of Worcester-based Net of Compassion, and hosted by Calvary Church, which is led by Pastor Jason Dennett.
