Environmental Committee Support the Environment
Our second Environmental Committee meeting is set for Tuesday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Please join us as we continue to build the foundation of what promises to be a very active and engaged team of Rotarians who are committed to Rotary's new - and seventh - Area of Focus: Supporting the Environment.
 
Please register in advance for our upcoming meeting, by clicking here. On Tuesday, March 9, we'll send the Zoom link and meeting  agenda. If you either don't know your ClubRunner login credentials or wish to invite non-Rotarians, feel free to register you and/or them as a guest. All are welcome!
 
We had three action items from our kick-off meeting, on February 23:

  1. World Environment Day is June 5: If you have ideas for a project we could execute on June 5, to support Rotary's new Area of Focus, please send them to Devina Thakur at devinasthakur@gmail.com.

  2. Subject-matter experts list: If you either are or know a subject matter-expert, please send that information to Missy Hollenback at melisahollenback@hotmail.com.

  3. Organizations For collaboration: If you have suggestions on other organizations with whom we should consider collaborating, please send that information to Missy Hollenback at melisahollenback@hotmail.com.

Finally, did you know that Rotary has an action group dedicated to environmental sustainability? Formed by Rotarians who were instrumental in establishing Rotary's new Area of Focus, the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group provides project ideas, resources, and connections to support our environmental-sustainability efforts.
