Reese Gorini won the District’s Polio drawing for 2 tickets to Seattle and the World Polio Day tribute at the Gates Foundation. There, she met many of the Rotarians from across the world who have been involved in the eradication efforts which have resulted in only 12 cases of polio so far this year.  Reese reports that, “It was a very moving program which showed that slowly but surely, we can achieve results if we unite for a common goal.” Reese took her son, Derek, on the trip to Seattle.
