The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club held a highly successful membership event in March that was aimed at showcasing the club's community impact and fostering new connections.

The morning began with a warm welcome and breakfast, followed by presentations highlighting Rotary's commitment to service. Club members shared stories of their involvement in key initiatives, including the annual Duck Race on the Charles, scholarship programs for local students, and support for international projects.
"We were thrilled with the turnout and the enthusiasm shown by everyone who attended," said Rotary Club President Kevin Hallinan. "Our goal was to provide a glimpse into the rewarding experience of being a Rotary member, and it's clear that message resonated."

The event focused on the core values of Rotary, emphasizing the opportunity for individuals to make a tangible difference in their communities while building lasting relationships

The success of the event is reflected in the number of inquiries received. The club anticipates welcoming multiple new members in the coming weeks.

“I am excited to see how much growth we get from this event, and how we use that growth to propel us forward as a more effective organization, both locally and globally,” said Charter Club Member and Past President Michael Thornton.

The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club meets on Wednesday mornings at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood. They encourage anyone interested in learning more about the club to visit their website, www.neponsetvalleysunriserotary.org, or attend a future meeting. The club consists of dedicated individuals from the ten towns that comprise the Neponset River Valley area.
