Members of the Committee also include Chairs of the following subcommittees: New Club Development (Chris Spear); RI Convention Promotion (Klaus Hachfeld); Fellowships (Roy Balfour);
Friendship Exchanges (Tom Pinney); and Membership Leads (Karen Fusco). These subcommittees will support clubs with additional resources to attract and engage members.

A new addition to the District this year will be New Member Orientation Events to introduce newer (2 years or less) and prospective members to the various facets of Rotary in a fun and interactive way. The first event will be co-hosted with District 7930 and is scheduled for September 5th from 6 to 9 pm at the Price Center in Newton. An additional event is planned for the Spring in another area of the District. District 7930 has reported stronger engagement and higher retention for members who attended their past events.
