Laurde Audy is a member of our Club, along with her husband Elias Audy. But Elias is the one who is always celebrated, both in Rotary and in the Town. As his wife and one of our members, I think Laurde also deserves some praise and thanks.
Laurde Audy has been a member of the Brookline Rotary Club for 15 plus years. Our Club (and other organizations in town) have celebrated her husband (Elias Audy) for his big heart, his generosity, and for the many, many contributions and donations he has made to our Club. But what about Laurde, his wife? In my opinion, she should equally be recognized for these donations and contributions. She may not attend as many Rotary meetings or sit on as many boards as her husband, but Laurde is still part of a team that has done a tremendous amount of good for the Brookline Rotary Club. For these reasons,and more, we’d like to celebrate Laurde Audy as our “unsung hero”.
