The reasons I am nominating this individual is Service Above Self is not just a motto for Bob, it’s a way of life. Mr. Johnson is on the Salvation Army council and volunteers his time coordinating between Rotary and the Salvation Army for Bell ringing during the Holiday Season. Rotarians collect thousands of dollars in donations all organized by Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson also coordinates
Rotarians serving meals to the homeless at the Salvation Army during the holiday season. He volunteers his time doing whatever needs to be done at theSalvation Army.
Mr. Johnson’s tireless efforts inspire the Rotary Club of Worcester to do more volunteering such as feeding children at the Boys and Girls Club, collecting clothes for refugees, and doing more for the community.

Mr. Johnson has been a member of the Rotary Club of Worcester for over 44 years and was the Sergeant At Arms for many years. He is on the Council at his church as well as The Salvation Army. Mr. Johnson has had a great impact the Economic and Community Development area of focus for the City of Worcester.
