Alexander Ganzi is a graduate student from Klagenfurt, a city in the south of Austria, who is in Worcester until the end of January working on his thesis about circular economy at WPI with Dr. Joseph Sarkis, Professor of Management within the Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Business School. He is here through the Rotary New Generations program. 
In Austria he is an active Rotaractor at the Montan-University Leoben, studying Industrial Logistics. Alexander arrived in October and was met at the airport by Johnny Ahern, DGND and taken to an Air B&B in Worcester until he could move in with his Rotary hosts. Hosting Alexander are Alan and Sandy Burgers of Changemakers Rotary and District 7910. Alexander possesses great language skills and has a heart for service. He enjoys skiing, traveling, going to museums, going to the gym to work out, and sports. He hopes to go to the Patriots vs. Chiefs game since his hosts are transplants from Kansas City and huge Chiefs fans.
The Rotary New Generations program is a short-term exchange program for young professionals and university students up to 30 years old. Participants do not need to be members of Rotary. Alexander is available to speak to clubs when he is not working.
