The 23rd annual Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club's duck race was a smashing success! We finally broke the spell of rainy Saturdays, enjoying a stellar day on the field filled with sunshine, smiles, and plenty of games ashore. Our ducks were enthusiastically dumped into the Charles River by a front-end loader and quickly raced downstream, though they eventually decided to just float and enjoy the scenery!
The proceeds from the race are crucial and will be used throughout the year to support scholarships, clean water projects, health initiatives, and so much more. Together, we are truly working to build and strengthen our communities. This event is a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts and a fantastic way to engage the community while making a significant impact.
