The Rotary Club of Franklin is sponsoring a Valentine’s Breakfast at the Franklin Housing Authority on Saturday, February 10th at 9:00 AM to help seniors enjoy some fellowship together for Valentine’s Day. The event features a warm breakfast, hot coffee and fruit. There will be live music and some special Valentine's Day surprises.  The Franklin Club recognized in the late fall that there were a number of local charities that supported families and children with holiday gifts during Christmastime. But there was a need to support low-income seniors, who are often alone during the holiday season, and further isolated as winter continues and they have less opportunities to go out and visit with neighbors.

The Club is collaborating with The Franklin Housing Authority to reach their residents and with the town’s Senior Center to invite seniors to attend. The Franklin Housing Authority also is working with residents who are house-bound to schedule a special breakfast delivery and visit from Rotary Club members the morning of the event.
