7910's Youth Exchange Inbound Students have returned to their home countries after a wonderful exchange year with us.   The 7910 Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) Team is thankful that Milford, Needham, and Weston-Wayland Rotarians opened their hearts and homes to our Inbound students, Hubert Havel from the Czech Republic, Jiyun Lee from South Korea, and Khim Thongbai from Thailand.

The Host Clubs did a great job of supporting our young visitors by arranging for Host Families, making sure the students fully participated in their classes and activities at their high schools, and providing a modest monthly allowance for the students to help with their personal expenses.  Needham and Weston-Wayland planned wonderful farewell dinners for Khim and Jiyun, while Milford bid farewell to Hubert at a luncheon meeting.  Club Youth Exchange Officers and Counselors Tony Gallo & John Peters (Milford), Bill Paulson and Hina Malik (Needham), and Brenda DeVito & Edwin Gaw (Weston-Wayland) generously shared their time and resources with the students to ensure their exchange year was filled with so many great experiences and a lifetime of memories to cherish. The Host Club Members and Families also cherish their time with the students as well.  As one Host Parent said after seeing their student off for the journey home at the airport, " We are all saddened at her departure.  She gave us far more than we gave her."  The host family plans to visit their student in her home country when she graduates from high school!
