Did you know Rotary has 7 Peace Centers? At these Peace Centers individuals committed to peace and conflict resolution receive Fellowships to earn a two-year master's level degree in international studies, peace studies, and conflict resolution. Since 2002 1700 individuals have been trained.

Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda: The first Rotary Peace Center in Africa, which opened in 2021
Duke University/University of North Carolina: Located in Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
University of Bradford: Located in Bradford, England
International Christian University: Located in Tokyo, Japan
University of Queensland: Located in Brisbane, Australia
Uppsala University: Located in Uppsala, Sweden
Chulalongkorn University: Located in Bangkok, Thailand

The program's goal is to promote peace through:
  • Conflict prevention
  • Peacebuilding
  • Conflict resolution methods
  • Sustainable economic, political, and human development
