On Saturday, November 14 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., join the Rotary and Interact clubs of Concord and Lexington for a Reverse Food Packaging Event to assist Rise Against Hunger efforts in South Sudan. It will be an online, via Zoom, with a speaker from the Rise Against Hunger organization.
In normal times, our four clubs have hosted a food-packaging event with Rise Against Hunger at this time of the year. Since we cannot do such large events in these COVID-19 times, we will host an online event this year.
If your Rotary or Interact club wants to participate, please donate $500 each to Rise Against Hunger, and sign up for the Zoom event. The proceeds will go to an initiative that Rise Against Hunger is doing in South Sudan.
On the Zoom call, we will learn about South Sudan and also about food insecurity through some trivia questions.
