Diana Nestorova and I joined the BU Rotaract Club on Wednesday night for their club meeting and participated in an in-meeting service project. Along with the Rotaractors, we  assembled housewarming baskets for Friend for Boston’s Homeless.
These baskets will be delivered in conjunction with a service project on Friday, December 1st from 5:30-7:30pm at the Woods Mullen Shelter (794 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA 02118).  The Rotaract club members will help prepare dinner, serve dinner, and engage in arts and crafts activities, and lead games with the members of the Mullen Shelter Community.
Items in the baskets included: cleaning supplies, toiletries, shower gear, bath towels, toilet paper, bath mat, set of twin sheets, pillow, comforter, laundry goods. The baskets are given out to community members who are transitioning from being homeless and in shelter to their own apartment.

The BU Rotaract Clubs is thriving and energized to Make a Difference by doing more service!
