Brookline Rotarians, BU Rotaract Members and BU Occupational Therapy students will cook and serve alongside Brookline Teen Center student participants. This year's project will include providing 1-2 meals/month from December 2023 to June 2024 at the Brookline Teen Center, Mondays at 3 pm. This is an extension of the two BBQ dinners the Club hosted this past summer and fall.
Once a month, the dinner will be part of a cooking class that Rotarian and BU Professor, Dr. Karen Jacobs will lead. Each meal will include a vegetarian, low-cost entrée and a dessert that the students can easily replicate at home. The second meal of the month will be food brought in from a local restaurant. The menus will be created by Dr. Karen Jacobs and the Teen Center staff. The first cooking class/dinner will start at 3pm Monday, December 11th.
