On September 1st we gathered for some tradition, good food, and a little fun bowling. We were happy to welcome DG Penny who inducted John Coker as our newest member. John is married to member Sandy Coker and has been showing up to our projects and events for a long time. We're delighted that he decided to make his relationship with us formal. With his induction, we now have THREE Rotarian couples in the club!
- We recognized our 2025-2026 Rotarian of the Year, Jenn Castro. Jenn is a newer member and works for the Whitin Community Center. She has been an active contributor to our Club, has brought service projects to our attention, and was always willing to help when it was needed. She's a wonderful member and we're delighted to have her (and her beautiful family) in the club. We now have THREE babies in the club.
- Penny installed our 2026-2027 Board of Directors: Susan Peghiny, President; Peter Gaudette, President-Elect; Elvis Lulo, Vice-President; Mike Carlson, Treasurer; Lyn Daly, Secretary; and Ron Faccenda, Foundation & RYLA Chair.
- Last but not least, some of our heartier souls bowled a few rounds (I heard there were some sore muscles the following day)! Thanks to everyone who participated and a special thank you to Mark Moon at Spare Time Recreation for donating the space for our event.
