Our founding members started this incarnation of the fabulous duck race a year after we were incorporated. And, it just keeps getting better every year.
The goal of the race is to raise funds that we disperse throughout the year to various non-profits and community supporting organizations. We give out annual scholarships and tool allowances to Blue Hills Technical High School graduates, scholarships to Dedham students, donate to local causes such as food pantries and to organizations like Engineers Without Borders for water projects as far away as Tanzania.
We aren’t looking for boots on the ground help, so much as boots a-knocking to join our dance party/race day.
So, come on down and join the fun on June 17th!
Can’t make the day? Help support us by becoming a sponsor or adopting a few of the cute little ducks. Every bit helps and we welcome one and all.
*Yes, we ran the race during the pandemic years, although we did have to postpone the dance party. We raised some record amounts during those years and now we are trying to top it.
