n: Turn Networking Conversations into Sales Appointments\, with Andy Wini
g (Rotarian aka "The Elevator Pitch Coach") You’ve given your Elevator P
itch and had a nice conversation. Now what? How do you transition from po
lite small talk to productive conversations that bring more clients to you
r business? In this interactive workshop you’ll learn the key networking
skills that turn strangers and acquaintances into clients and referral pa
rtners. We’ll cover: When to follow up (and when NOT to). How to identif
y the right connections (and avoid the ones that will just waste your time
). The natural and non-salesy transitions that morph a networking conversa
tion into an exploratory sales meeting. A simple framework for deciding wh
o you want to meet with and how to structure that meeting. An approach tha
t automatically makes people think of qualified referrals for you. By the
end of this 60-minute workshop you’ll have learned and practiced three
key skills for turning networking connections into clients and referral pa
rtners. About Our Speaker: Andrew Winig\, the Elevator Pitch Coach\, uses
his improvisational\, musical theater\, and business backgrounds to make h
is virtual and in-person programs fun\, entertaining\, engaging\, and prac
tical. Andrew found that the following the typical Elevator Pitch advice d
idn’t lead to any referrals for his businesses. Over 8 years he applied
his engineering mind to identify and test new skills in search of a simple
approach that works consistently. His ground-breaking book “Elevator Pi
tch Handbook: The Step-by-Step Guide to Starting Conversations” condense
s what he discovered into 51 readable pages that will forever change the w
ay you talk about what you do. Andrew wants you to get better leads from y
our Elevator Pitch and shares his unique and effective techniques through
 email newsletters\, virtual and in-person workshops\, private coaching\, a
nd keynote speeches. You can sign up for his weekly Elevator Pitch Tips Em
ail Newsletter at https://improvandy.com On the second Monday of the mont
h\, our sessions focus on marketing and sales through pitching and present
ing our companies and work. On the fourth Monday of the month\, we have "Q
uestions" sessions where we dive deeper into business topic through the ex
ploration of content related to specific business questions that we often
tie back to the Rotary 4-Way test. (Note: you must RSVP separately throu
gh Zoom for the 4th Monday sessions.) Future meetings on the 2nd and 4th M
onday's of the month.  Questions?  Email Rotary@Work Co-Chairs Roy Bal
