Rotary Day at the United Nations: Saturday, November 7

By Skip and Pat Doyle

The annual Rotary Day at the United Nations offers a unique opportunity to both a visit the United Nations Headquarters in New York City as well as participation in panel discussions featuring leaders and officials from the Rotary International, the United Nations and its affiliated non-governmental organizations.

Lunch is included in the registration fee, which is $60 per person. Lunch will be served in the main United Nations Cafeteria, overlooking the East River. Lunch will include a sandwich, beverage, and dessert.

We need to make reservations as soon as possible, as seating for UN Day is limited. Tickets went on sale last Monday, and there are only 100 left. Spouses and friends are also invited. Tickets for Rotaractors, Interactors and ESSEX students will be available in mid-September. When we know how many local Rotarians are going, we will arrange for transportation at an additional cost.

Please contact Skip and Pat Doyle, co-chairs of District 7910's United Nations Day Committee, for tickets and/or additional information, at 508 393-9031 or pwdoyle2@verizon.net.
