PETS Update: Presidents-elect, mark your calendars

We and all of you have embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. We have attended the Rotary International Training Session in San Diego, so we are ready to help all of you become well-prepared club presidents in 2016-2017. Thirteen presidents-elect attended the first PETS Prep on February 11 at the Doubletree Hotel in Leominster. The reviews are in and those in attendance expressed satisfaction with the experience. One president-elect thanked Skip for twisting his arm to come. He felt he would not have been prepared for PETS without the experience of PETS Prep. Another said it was “great, a real eye-opener.”
How can we get the remaining 38 presidents-elect in position to say on June 30, 2017 that this was the best Rotary year ever? Have them attend PETS Prep on February 16.
Please put the February 16 President Elect Training Session on your calendar. If this is the first time you have seen this PETS date, please contact us so we can update your contact information, at pwdoyle2@verizon.net.
PETS Prep: Tuesday, February 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Boxborough. Remember to bring the chair of your Rotarian Youth Leadership Awards. Special RYLA training will be held at the same time and place. To register for the February 16 session at the Holiday Inn in Boxborough, click here.
PETS: Thursday, March 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel in Framingham. In order to take full advantage of these training sessions, plan to come late afternoon on Thursday late and stay through lunch on Saturday.
Post PETS (previously, District Assembly): Friday, April 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at a place to be determined. This is the time to bring your whole team of officers for specialized training to best-perform their office.
