District 7910 held its first-ever Interact Advisor Training Seminar on November 16 at the Holiday Inn in Boxborough. Thirty-five Rotarians and guests from 21 Rotary clubs participated energetically at the event.

Carol Toomey, of the Rotary Club of Nashoba Valley and chair of the district's Youth Services Committee, served as moderator. Panelists were: Jim O'Connor, of RC Westborough; Peter Perry, of RC Fitchburg East; Bob Anthony, of RC Wellesley; and me, of RC Nashoba Valley and chair of the district's Interact Committee. The lively panel discussion was followed by four breakout sessions, during which engaged participants shared best Interact practices.

District 7910 currently has 16 active Interact clubs and another nine others in the process of forming. The most recent Interact club to form was at Southbridge Middle/High School, in October.
