Did you know that Interact stands for “International Action?” The first step occurs when you joined Interact and connected with people in your community. The second step is taken when you network with Interactors beyond your community.

Here are three immediate opportunities to do so:

1. To register online to attend the Interact Training Session on Saturday, April 29 during the Multi-District Conference in Providence, click here. While every Interact member will ideally attend, at least the Interact presidents and presidents-elect should do so. To register, click here. To download the conference-overview document in PDF format, click here.

2. Win the District 7910 Video Contest for Spring 2017, to have it shown to communities from all over New England attending the Rotary and Interact events during the Multi-District Conference. Send your one-to-two-minute video – by Friday, April 21 - on ‘How our Interact club makes a difference for someone’ to me, District Interact Chair Bob Anthony, at rwa1645@gmail.com. The winning Interact club will also collect $250! To download the video-contest flyer and rules in PDF format, click here.

3. Tell others about your favorite project by sending - before April 21 - a photo and statement on ‘How our Interact club makes a difference for someone’ to me, District Interact Chair Bob Anthony, at rwa1645@gmail.com. Also, ask your Rotary liaison for an invitation to join the online networking group, Interact Clubs of Rotary District 7910, on Facebook - and post it there as well. Feel free to post what sorts of help your club needs for the project. (Note: In the photo, right, Interactor Alex Kung’s favorite project is making a difference for an elementary-age student by enhancing his coping skills that prevent depression.)

Your projects will be publicized during the regional Interact training event at the Multi-District Conference through a District 7910 House of Friendship table. On display, will be the winning Interact videos plus materials and placards about your favorites.
