By Ralph Hammond

Way to go, Brookfields! You are the third Rotary club in our district – along with Charles River and Tyngsboro-Dunstable – to reach 100-percent “Every Rotarian Every Year.” (Achieving EREY means every member of a Rotary club has made a contribution of some amount each year to The Rotary Foundation’s Annual Fund/SHARE.

Way to go, Bedford! You are the first Rotary club in our district to reach the foundation goal for grant-certification status.

Way to go, all Rotarians in District 7910. We are 97-percent caught up to the contribution level we were at this time last year.

Clubs Looking for Project Partners

The Rotary Club of Nashoba Valley is looking for partners on a very exciting project, with an invitation to join the Malawi Malaria project. Click here to learn more, or contact Richard Simon at 978-835-4432 or rlsimon@comcast.net. This is a great opportunity to meet your own club’s international-project requirement. This project is likely to grow to a big one and your involvement could become very exciting.

Training for 2016-2017 Grant Cycle

In preparation for Pat and Skip Doyle’s 2016-2017 year as co-district governors, required training to participate in grants during their DG year has now begun. One Rotary club – Newton - has already been trained.  In October, we always begin the training. November is Rotary Foundation Month, to set the tone for the year ahead.  In January, we will begin the pre-grant cycle. Next April 1, the new grant cycle will begin. Next July 1, we will begin the next Rotary year with most projects launched and ready for action.
