Our Pay it Forward Meals for Haiti event is in the books. With the help of 400+ people, including Rotarians from the Westwood, Dracut and Billerica clubs, our amazing sponsors, Middlesex Community College and our Stop Hunger Now partners, we were able to package 120,000 meals and fill Ralph's Prius with donations to the Bedford Food Pantry.
To impact a family to the point where this mother (Linda Sullivan) took the initiative to find the Rotary Club of Fitchburg last week and attend a meeting (without an invitation /on her own) to say how thankful she was for the Rotary Club sponsoring the webcam that allowed her family, during the winter storms, and family illness that prohibited visits, to still stay connected and bond with her critical care infant.
