bus pass to get to work. We invite you to come to Scoozi on Wednesday April 18 from 5-7pm to
help raise money for this organization. 15% of your check will be donated to One Can Help
when you bring in the event coupon. You can sign up for the event by going to the following

Welcome the 2018-2019 Executive Board!!

President: Ioana Moldovan
Ioana is a rising senior on the pre-med track, studying Spanish and Biology (CMG) in the College of Arts and Sciences. She's been involved with Rotary since her high school Interact Club days and loves to volunteer with a team of people who place service above self! Traveling is one of her passions with Madrid, Buenos Aires, Paris, and Venice among the cities on the list of places she's visited. She speaks Romanian and Spanish, and listening to Spanish music is her favorite way to relax. Ioana is excited to build up our Rotaract club even more next year through a renewed focus on service!

Fun fact: I can probably fix your car!

Secretary: Melissa Braun
Hi everyone. My name is Melissa and I am a graduate occupational therapy student in Sargent College. This is my second year in Rotaract and I love all the time we spend giving back to the community and getting to know other people in the club. I hope to have a great year with all of you!

Treasurer: Hailey Cerrentani

Haley Cerretani is a rising junior in Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences studying Health Sciences with a minor in Spanish. Having spent years working in wildlife rehabilitation and now working as a personal care attendant, Haley considers taking care of others not just a passion, but a way of life. Training as a CrossFit athlete at Invictus Fenway is just one of her many passions along with general health and fitness. Feel free to strike up a conversation with her about dogs or music, two of her greatest loves! Haley is extremely excited about bringing Rotaract to an all-time best in this upcoming year.

Social Media Chair: Pooja Sonikar

Pooja Sonikar is a freshman Human Physiology major who is really excited to enjoy the rotaract team. Aside from Rotaract, she is the Vice President of Sargent College's Class of 2021, a research assistant at the Brain Plasticity and Neuroimaging Lab at the Boston University School of Medicine, and an intern at the Autism Development Program at Boston Medical Center. She hopes to bring more visibility to Rotaract and bring in more people who want to help the community as much as we do.

Fellowship Meeting: Handmade Cat Toys

During our Fellowship meeting last Wednesday (4/11) Rotaractors got to know each other through a fun ice breaker, took part in our annual election, and then tested our crafting skills in aservice project. We made a ton of handmade cat toys that we will be donating to the Boston Adoption Center, part of the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

Fenway Green Team

This past Saturday (4/14) BU Rotaractors met up with Rotaractors from Norwich University to brave the unnatural April cold weather and join the Fenway Green Team! Members collected recycling in the stands and got to see a free Red Sox home game (and got a free lunch and T-shirt!). We had a fantastic time with the Norwich Rotaractors and thank them for making the long trip all the way from Vermont to see us!
