Rotary District 7910 – Survey Says and Strategic Plan

 

Rotary District 7910 recently surveyed its membership, soliciting feedback to inform a strategic plan. The survey asked for Rotarians’ views on the support and assistance Clubs receive from the District and what is important to them in carrying out the mission of Rotary. The survey asked for basic demographic information and asked participants to rank the importance and effectiveness of various District programs. It also asked questions concerning District committees, Assistant Governors and District communications.   Charts and Data Information

Diana Nestorova and I joined the BU Rotaract Club on Wednesday night for their club meeting and participated in an in-meeting service project. Along with the Rotaractors, we  assembled housewarming baskets for Friend for Boston’s Homeless.

Recognition and Awards for 2016-2017 Rotary Year
 
When we began our training to be District Governor we knew that the awards process for 2016-17 would be delayed because of the change in the ending date for earning awards. We had no idea that it would be November before we received the last of the awards from Rotary International. We are now able to report to the District the amazing number of clubs that received awards for the 2016-17 Rotary Year.
 
Over a year ago we spoke to all the clubs and reminded them of the importance of using the Club Planning Worksheet and Club Central to record and track the many activities in which they were involved. Here are the results.

Nashoba Valley Rotary Hosts Stow Veterans Day Breakfast
Sixteen members of the Rotary Club of Nashoba Valley volunteered during the Stow Veterans Day Breakfast on November 10, 2017 at First Parish Church of Stow and Acton, which was attended by more than 120 people. Also volunteering, were six members of the Interact Club of Nashoba Valley, and five members of Boy Scout Troop 1 Stow.
