What is the number one strategic objective for Rotary International, District 7910, and your club? The answer is quite simple, increase membership! Establishing a goal to "increase membership" is very common amongst clubs, however, being successful at it is another story. How do we increase membership at all levels?
The answer I suspect is very different from zone to zone, district to district, and even club to club.

District 7910 is asking every member to help increase membership. We all know if we increase our membership, we increase our service capacity. How can you make a difference when it comes to membership? The answer is three-fold.

First work with the members of your club to develop a two-minute elevator pitch that promotes the good work of your club and Rotary. Once you have the "pitch," start asking non-Rotarians to join your club (ask everyone, especially those that reflect your community).

Finally, please consider joining the District Membership Committee. We need to work together to develop a successful membership campaign that is sustainable for years to come. If you want to join, or want to talk about the possibility of joining, please feel free to call me at (508) 494-9410 or email me at marlboroughrotaryleadership@gmail.com
