Question: How do you know it’s summer? Answer: It’s when Wings and Wheels Cruise-In/Fly-In returns to the Minute Man Air Field, at 302 Boxboro Road in Stow MA. Come and see for yourself!

Brought to you by the Minute Man Air Field, the Rotary Clubs of Acton-Boxborough and Westford, EAA #196, and Nancy’s at the Air Field Café, the fun happens from 5-8 pm, Thursday nights in June, July, and August.

Each week, specialty cars and planes cruise in and fly in. Bring the whole family, even your leashed pet, and stroll among them, admiring them all and choosing your favorites. Hungry? Order a personal pizza from the Nancy’s Air Field Café brick oven, fresh-squeezed lemonade or just-popped popcorn from the Rotary Club stand, or an ice cream cone from Ken and Gina’s Amazing Organic Ice Cream. Music? Sure, provided by Action Video. Places to sit and chat, and a 50/50 raffle? Absolutely. And if the kids get restless, head to the Kids’ Corner, with face painting, bean bag toss, and coloring book pictures to complete.

So join us as we celebrate summer at Wings and Wheels. Admission is free, but donations are accepted and support the local and international charitable work of the Rotary Clubs of Acton-Boxborough and Westford.
