Kick Polio Off The Planet
By Carol Toomey
We are now experiencing only one case of polio per week in the world. Nigeria has not had a case since July 14, 2014. Money is needed to buy vaccine. It isn't over yet.

There is a Major League Soccer game on August 1 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro: Toronto versus the Revolution at 7:30 p.m., with free parking. The tickets are $39 instead of the usual $30. Of that, $5 goes to Polio Plus. Our Rotary Zone 33 has 100 tickets to sell. Three districts - 7910, 7930 and 7950 - need only sell 32 each. That's only 16 people buying two tickets, or eight people buying four each.

You only need to ask around, and you will find people who are willing to go. We are running out of time. Please ask your club members, your committee members, your friends, and your neighbors.

And, if you can't go, buy tickets and give them to ESSEX, Interact or RYLA members. They will learn about polio - and have fun!

Thanks in advance for your help and all you do for Rotary and the eradication of polio.
